We are proud and excited to be able to offer Horse Drawn Carriages servicing Charters Towers, Townsville and surrounding areas of North Queensland as well as the chance to take a horse drawn Wagon Tour at Leahton Park to see the historic Texas Longhorns.

In the late 1800's Charters Towers was known as "The World" and now we proudly bring back to life something from that past: hence the name Old World Carriage Co. We are able to offer the following and more:

Texas Longhorn Wagon Tours - Join a Texas Longhorn Wagon Tour of Leahton Park! Come and see the largest herd of registered Texas Longhorns in Australia right here in the heart of cattle country - Charters Towers, North Queensland.

Horseshoe B Longhorns at Leahton Park is just 10 km from Charters Towers and is very accesible to those wanting to take part in a tour.

Horseshoe B Longhorns also has some of the longest horned cattle in Australia.
Using a team (pair) of Percheron draft horse our carriages are a white Landau that can seat from six to eight people and the big covered wagon that can carry up to twelve adults. While you are here visit the Bethel Saddlery saddle shop and see some of the finest saddles made in the country.
